Moonroast CAFE is a neighborhood coffee shop tucked into the buzz of Makati’s JP Rizal area, serving a mix of busy locals and remote workers looking for a casual yet functional spot. Located at 2834 E Zobel, it’s close enough to Makati City Hall to attract errands-driven visitors who then decide to pause for a quick caffeine lift or a longer work session.

The vibe here is comfortably unpretentious with a cozy interior that keeps you settled but not stuck. Tables are spacious, with plenty of electrical outlets and reliable WiFi, making it a solid choice for students, freelancers, and anyone needing to get through a stretch of work or study. You’ll also find the staff approachable and the place kept noticeably clean, enhancing the sense that you could park here for a few hours without distraction.

Coffee-wise, Moonroast offers straightforward choices rather than specialty or single-origin brews — the focus leans toward affordability and everyday flavors. If you’re after a quick caffeine fix, their Java Chip Frappe stands out as a crowd favorite, delivering a cool, chocolatey kick. Pastry options, especially the double chocolate and banana muffins, complement the drinks well and offer good value for the price. On the other hand, some drinks like the iced latte or Spanish Latte might not deliver complex flavors for seasoned coffee enthusiasts, but they do hit the mark for an easy-going neighborhood cup.

The atmosphere fits those looking for a middle ground between a working cafe and a casual hangout. It’s bright enough during the day for productivity while maintaining a warmth that makes downtime enjoyable. Early mornings or late afternoons are great times to swing by: morning light fills the space nicely, and the after-lunch lull lets you enjoy quieter moments to read or catch up with friends.

Overall, Moonroast feels like a locally grounded spot where practical meets cozy. It’s well-suited for those prioritizing convenience, affordable quality, and a relaxed ambiance over artisanal coffee prestige.

I ordered iced latte with regular milk. It's a bit bitter and not smooth. If you're just lookin for a quick affordable caffeine fix then go here. Even their oatmilk is one of the chepeast priced ive seen in Makati. If you're a coffee enthusiast, don't go here expecting them to serve specialty single origin coffee. It's more of a neighborhood cafe, tucked in the busy streets of jp rizal. The menu reflects that too. Didnt get a chance to try their food. There's wifi so you can do some work, ac was cold, there are some sockets. I saw ppl with their laptops working. It's not spacious as expected, and can definitely get filled up fast whenever people from Makati City Hall and nearby offices arrive. I liked that they used actual furniture, mabigat un tables and chairs. The two baristas i talked to were also nice. Just hoped they're opened on weekends but that might not be condusive knowing office ppl are not around. Ratinf 4/5 since i didnt try the food. But will come back.

I like the cozy feel of the place. I chanced upon this place because I was doing an errands at the Makati City Hall. Often times, my basis for a good coffee spot is the taste of the Spanish Latte and their hot chocolate; two things a coffee shop shouldn't mess up. I'd say that the Spanish Latte lacks a little taste for my liking but the coffee element is there. The hot chocolate has that Swiss Miss vibe. Overall the place is a good place to hang out in. Worth a visit.

Moonroast Cafe is a fantastic spot for both work and relaxation. The cafe is thoughtfully designed for remote workers and students, featuring plenty of sockets for laptops, wide tables, and comfortable seating that makes for a productive and comfortable experience. The drinks at Moonroast Cafe are a highlight, with unique flavors that stand out and are fairly priced. The food is equally impressive—tasty and well-curated, offering a range of options that cater to different palates. The staff at Moonroast Cafe are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that I can only describe as having "honey vibes." The ambiance is perfect for those looking to unwind, with a clean restroom and a relaxing overall environment. Whether you're looking for a place to work or just want to enjoy a good drink and meal, Moonroast Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

My go-to café whenever I'm around Makati City Hall. The place is cozy and there's activity to be done - chess, gunpla collection, etc. The barista is nice and welcoming. Asked him a few questions about their menu (especially coffees and croffles) and he knows what to recommend. There's a pair of comfort rooms and a lot of sockets. What I ordered: Café Latte - antapang in a good way. Roasted Soy Bean Croffles - unique flavour for a croffle offering. Powdery and crispy. Awesome place to spend time with yourself or your friends. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Moonroast is such a charming cafe with a simple yet elegant structure that gives off an “old money” vibe. It has a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for hanging out, studying, or working. One of the things I loved most is the chessboard they have, where you can enjoy a game with friends while sipping your coffee. It’s a great spot to unwind and have fun at the same time. The cafe is also perfect for those needing to get some work done, thanks to their unlimited Wi-Fi and plenty of sockets to plug in your devices. The staff is incredibly accommodating, which makes the experience even better. For Gundam fans, Moonroast also sells a wide variety of Gundam models. You can simply ask the friendly staff for assistance, and they’ll help you find what you need. As for the food and drinks, they absolutely nailed it. I tried their Tiramisu Biscoff Coffee, and it was amazing! The coffee has a bold, strong espresso taste that coffee lovers will truly appreciate. If you’re into strong coffee, this one’s for you. I also had their Biscoff Waffles, and they were delicious! The taste was spot-on, and the portion size was generous. Overall, Moonroast is a fantastic cafe with great coffee, a fun atmosphere, and a variety of things to enjoy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy spot to study, work, or simply enjoy great food and coffee.

Menu items are affordable, the area is spacious and has enough parking to fit 2 cars. I don't know if they were out of stock for the day for some of the menu items. Would have liked to try their Chicken Pesto Pasta. Overall, this is a great place to hang out.
